The Navya Foundation was set up as a non-profit charitable trust, philanthropic organization dedicated to helping the poor, elderly and uplift the position of women and children in Uttar Pradesh. The Founder and Chairman Devendra Trivedi recognized the right of all women and children to lead a life of dignity and self respect in a just and equitable society and the need to improve the capacities of women and communities to improve the quality of their lives and enhance their ability to negotiate from a position of strength. Founder of the Foundation understands that a strength that would come from being educated, in good health, having the capacity to be engaged in productive work and knowledge of law i.e., constitutionals rights and other Laws applicable in the life of a person belonging to the weaker section of the society, senior citizens, women and children.

The Foundation recognizes that the process of development is as important as the outcome. Within the above framework, the Foundation is committed to work towards a synergy of different inputs as being necessary for a poor man, needy children, senior citizens and women.

Foundation’s main motto is to demand and provide support in matters of education, employment, inheritance, marriage and religion other than providing the basic amenities of life i.e., food, clothing and shelter to every needy person.
